Every Goldendoodle deserves to be considered for a Goldendoodle Calendar, don’t they? Sharon Eide is a professional photographer was preparing a doodle calendar for 2012. She met us at Baker Beach and took these wonderful pictures. There was anther woman with a Labradoodle there that day and she went ahead of us. Her dog came, sat, downed, posed, and generally behaved spectacularly.
Lucy and Mozart did none of those things. Sharon had to burst shoot in order to get the photos because they would’t sit still! The reason that their tongues are hanging out in most of the pictures was because they were racing around in this new setting, smelling, sniffing, peeing, jumping, running, and otherwise doing dog things, which is great for a day at the beach, but not for a photo shoot.
They didn’t make the calendar, but I think they look gorgeous. Thank you Sharon.
PS: My husband loved the long hair but did not help with the brushing. That was the last grooming with long hair. Note to groomer, cut it short!
