They don’t judge us.
They don’t care whether we’re fat or thin or in between.
They don’t notice our wrinkles and crinkles.
They give us much more than we could ever give them.
They wait patiently until we get home and even if we’ve only been gone for five minutes, they greet us like rock stars.
They don’t care if you’re rich or poor.
They don’t ask for much, some love, a walk, some food and a place to sleep.
And this is what that love looks like.
